Me and my side kick

Only 1 day done but me and my 11 year old really enjoyed it. I did us muesli with fruit and natural yoghurt for breakfast school dinner which I can't really control and a wrap boilded egg and sugar free jelly for tea. We also did a 4 mile walk. She didn't complain once. I am emphasing being healthier and not losing weight as she is so going.

Hi Dinkles,

I've copied and pasted a portion of the introduction to the 12 week plan, which I think you really need to take note of

"It is not suitable for children and young people or pregnant women. If you have a medical condition, you should consult your GP before starting."

If you're concerned about your daughter's weight, I would advise a visit to your GP/dietician, for expert advise on how best to approach it.

Thanks for your reply. I would like to say I'm not counting calories for my daughter however I am just gradually introducing the healthy principles such as more fibre moving more etc. Things the doctor would probably only tell us and this would just make her more self conscious. I have given in to her pressuring me for junk far too many times and I feel guilty for this to be honest. The week by week plan means i can introduce one healthy habit at a time.
