Bad day, well really only a bad evening, been eating well all day, had a nice long walk with the dog and then had a parenting moment with my 18 year old and resorted to vodka and pringles to cheer me up .... feel sick now....oh well tomorrow is another day!

Hi Dizzykate

Sorry to hear your having a bad night, those parenting moments with teenagers can be hard. Start afresh tomorrow you will be fine. Well done on eating well during the day.

Thank you, I realise I am most absolutely an emotional eater! Will have to plan strategies to manage this in future.

We all get those moments I had one last week and ending up eating ice cream!

Dizzykate sometimes needs must. It will soon be tomorrow, a brand new day we haven't even started on yet! Hope the sickness doesn't develop into a hangover, I am sure you don't deserve one.

18 year olds can do that to parent quite easily Dizzykate . New day tomorrow. At least you had eaten well all day - well done for that:)

Hi Lucigret hope you're not still knocking down walls etc. I'm going through the same issues with Wee Miss. Only 12. 13 in September. Going on 18. We put in Boundaries. It's tough going through. Hows your day been? G☺

Hi George56 , being a parent is great fun isn't it - and a lot of hard work- for some reason our children don't always appreciate the boundaries that we put in place!

I have had a good day at my daughters thank you. All the plaster has been removed and tomorrow we are off out to do fun things like visit the garden centre🌺🦋🌼

Ah, but just look at the lesson you learned - vodka has its uses but pringles are the devil's own food. One that will no doubt serve you well in future, my child...

Thanks everyone, back on track today, daughter home in one piece after her first night out clubbing, now I feel less stressed! 2 hours in the garden today should have helped rebalance things 😊
