Last ten pounds struggle
Does anyone find they struggle with their last ten pounds or so? I seem to lose a bit then put on a bit then lose a bit but don't seem to go much further. Aiming for 1800-1900 cal since I have a physical job. I'm five foot and weigh 149 pounds.
Yes, I'm finding that with my last 5kg or so. I think as we get closer to our ideal weight the body fights harder to hold on the fat - so it's basically a good sign that we don't have further to go
I just keep watching the calories, and weighing myself everyday to keep motivated (whilst accepting on a day to day basis there are upward fluctuations) and it does keep moving in the right direction.
Hi Jo ,
I've been trying to shed about 9 lbs.i drop a pound then put another on ,then drop another.so I'm like a yo yo .im at 12 st 9lb and want to get under the 12 st mark.tbink I got to 12 st 7 lb .Biscuits were my downfall,I've had to stop them completely ,so this week I'm looking for a loss.good luck.
Chocolate is my downfall so may have to cut back on something
I'm worse when I'm not doing anything ,or if I'm stressed out.good look .
Definitely!!!! I'm trying to focus on good health and improving fitness. ☺ Also use a tape measure or clothes, I'm definitely shrinking even though the scales go up and down like crazy! 😁
Yes, I know exactly how you feel. I keep getting down to needing just one more pound for my 2 stone weight lose and I either don't lose for weeks or gain a couple of pound. Not sure if its a mental block type thing or what, some days feel like its just not supposed to happen.
I can totally sympathise, I get proper frustrated at times.
