Monday 27/02/17

Done 2 months without smoking and am now starting my 2nd week of aggressive exercise.

Last week - 1 hour of cardio on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

This week I've done an hour already.

I've dropped 0.2kg over the week (Sunday to Sunday) although the week before (when I was on holiday) I dropped 1.2kg so either my scales are strange or a good diet is much more important than exercise when losing weight. I'm more concerned about being healthy than thin although looking good naked is still a goal for 2017!

Good luck everyone!

  • Diet is more to do with weight loss than exercise although exercise does help it along. But for the first week or two even on a diet and exercise regime you might find it hard to lose the weight because your body has to have time to adapt.

You got the right idea tho, aim for being healthy and the rest will fall into place.

    Good luck.

  • Congratulations on quitting smoking. That is a major victory. I did it after 50 years smoking . Unfortunately not before suffering consequences. You will never regret quitting. Good luck with your weight loss journey. I'm sure you will be successful with that too as you clearly have will power in spades.
