Newbie

Hi all, newbie here, please could I get a newbie badge. According to the bmi i need to lose 1st 11lbs. So here i am ready to go. I am very new to the online community thing so hopefully I'll find my way soon. Just wondering if anyone has any super tips? I'm a working mum of 3 so quick and easy is my preferred method ;) any hoo Hi everyone, nice to meet you all.

    Welcome to the weight loss forum.

    Take a look at the Welcome Newbies post in the Pinned post section on the right or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

    Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

    Take your measurements at the start along with a photo so you can see the changes and it is motivating on the days when the scales don't move.

    We have daily weigh-ins so why not come and join us. You will find the weigh-ins in the Events section on the Home page on the right. Just click on the post and state your starting weight, any loss/gain or maintain.

    To get the best from the forum be active, share experience, tips and ideas. read some of the posts they are very inspiring.

  • I recommend the happiness challenge - see 2nd pinned post , aside above, as I am convinced that overeating starts with unhappiness via comfort eating. All the very best . take each day as it comes.

  • Thank you :) I've been spending some time finding my way round the site and the forum as this is all very new to me. I managed my1st run with couch to 5k last night and I am so far managing well with calorie counting. Looking forward to a healthier lifestyle:)
