Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

When losing weight potassium loss can be a problem. A good source of potassium are bananas. This recipe (from the MyFitnessPal blog) uses them for a yummy snack.

Ingredients:

2 Bananas - Mashed (best when they're pretty ripe, just getting brown spots).

120 g porridge oats

100g chocolate chips

Prep:

Mash the bananas with a fork until they are a uniform, gloopy, mess.

Mix in the oats thoroughly.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Place forkfulls onto a baking try (I like those silicone baking sheets - no sticking) and press them down until flat. This should make 15 - 20 cookies.

Cooking:

Place them in an oven preheated to 180º C and cook for 18 minutes. If they're still gooey then give them another couple of minutes.

70 Cal, 12g Carbs (3g sugar), 2g Fat, 1g Protein
