Week 6 - Only 1.5lbs gone, but still down :)

After the euphoria of last weeks loss and achieving my first stone loss badge, it was back to reality this week with a very meagre 1 and a half pounds loss. I know its a loss and I know I did not have a very good weekend and slipped back into some old bad ways (snacking). The good work I put in during the week has kept me going down in weight and size. What it has done is highlight the fact that really recording everything you eat (AND DRINK) in your calorie counter, shows you where you are going wrong. This has given me added resolve that this week, I am back on it to achieve a good loss. Not starving myself, same healthy eating as I have done so far and not thinking I have still got calories to use. The lardometer is filling up nicely, my total loss so far is 33 x 250gm packs of Sainsbury's finest Lard :) That's nearly half a case gone. Hopefully my target is still to fill this and more before I go on holiday to my beloved Malta in June :) keep up the good work people and thank you for your support.

  • That's a good amount to lose per week, more than 2lb per week can be to much and your body can go into starvation mode (look it up). So be happy 😀

  • Morning RockPython54

Any loss is a good loss. Losing 1 and half pounds is a good loss and going in the right direction so well done you. Writing everything down does help to keep you on track. Loving the lardometer, it is filling up nicely.

    Have a great week.

  • Love the lardometer! Well done for talking yourself through the reality and sharing with others. Owning our own journey, the highs and the lows is so important. 1 and a half pound off is amazing, I dream of it.

  • Thanks Ceals. I have really found this website and the people who use it so supportive. You will get there, just be true to yourself and believe.
