Came across this whilst doing my daily browse for tips to lose weight well.
I've done many diets including the 5:2 which I lost loads of weight on but my health suffered (headaches, tiredness). this year I decided to push myself and try and lose over 3 stone for July, I've lost a stone but can't seem to find the motivation to push myself. Any tips and advice would be fab!

Where you tired because you wernt eating enough? Drinking enough water might help with the headaches.
The motivation is the hard thing, why not put £1 or so into a jar for every pound of weight you lose then use the money to treat yourself when you hit your target weight.
The key, is to stop thinking about another diet and start thinking about a sustainable healthy lifestyle
Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread, then move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news
Have a look at the 12 week plan, as a lot of people have been successful with it. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate
We run daily weigh-in's and you'd be very welcome to join us. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too

Welcome! This is a brilliant support group. Look for people who have similar goals, live nearby or similar interests and 'follow' them on here to see their posts first. I have 3 stone to loose, and tried a lot in the past. I'm not at my best this weekend so not got any inspiration today but happy to encourage and be around. Good luck! I also find tracking helps me, I'm on fitnesspal. X
I usually abandoned earlier diets because I got bored.... not with the food but the fact that once I was on a diet, I became obsessed with food. This forum helps you avoid that with the whole 'happiness' thing, which gets you thinking about what makes you happy, doing things for others and [ because you list 3 things that make you happy each day, gets you started on doing the things you like. Exercise makes you feel good too.
