Hello this is my first day .my son gets married this year and I would like to loose 3 stone no let me correct that I need to loose 3 stone to protect and help my health (I have type 1 diabetes) looking good for my sons photographs I know will help me enormously. I have very little will power I'm lucky to stay focused on any diet for more than 2-3 days. I hope I can get some motivation from others.

  • Hello Dreams and Nightmare, This is my second week, I lost 2lbs last week. This is a great group to be a part of. So much support here. Spend time reading some of the posts. January Amnesty, which you will find in pinned posts is very good. Wishing you both success in your journey downwards😊

    Welcome to the weight loss forum.

    Take a look at the "Welcome Newbies" post in the pinned post section on the right hand side or at the bottom if on a mobile. The nhs 12 week plan is on the home page which is a very good plan, I have lost 3st 8lbs since last June following this plan.

    Join in with any of the challenges in the pinned post section, they are fun to do and good motivators. Have a read through some of the posts in the "Topic" section also on the right hand side below the pinned posts.

    We run weigh-in daily Monday to Saturday, Monday and Tuesday are oversubscribed at the moment, but feel free to join in with any day from Wednesday to Saturday. The weigh-in posts are found on the Home page on the right side.

  • Thank you Anna. I'm going shopping on Friday fill the cupboard with healthy foods and go from there. I've tried WW, SW you name it I never stick to it so portion control vegs and healthy eating from now on . You must be really happy that you've managed to combat it. Well done
