End Week 2 Weigh In - Need emotional support :(

End Week 2 Weigh In - Need emotional support :(

14st 2lb, 36" waist, BMI 32.9...

Lost another 1" off waist, but put on nearly 2lb :(

Last week was very hard... Confronted my Fiancé about his drinking; staying at my parents.

I've stopped counting calories, but I did keep up my weights and done 3 runs...

Miss my fiancé and want to binge on chocolate so bad :(

P.S. Sorry about grubby mirror

  • Hi Rutie

Just sneaked on as have a free period and saw your post.

I know things have been difficult for you this week with your fiancé (I gained too if it's any consolation), but remember we are all human and it's ok to fall off the wagon. The most important thing is to get back on once you're off and not STAY off. We're always here to help you, no matter how many times you feel like you're not succeeding.

All of us have issues with food for many different reasons and the thing about this forum is that no matter what time of day you log on, there is invariably someone around to talk.

It's great you've logged on here, that shows that you're prepared to do something positive.

Is there anything you can do to distract yourself from eating? Maybe paint your nails, have a relaxing bath, meet up with a friend and go shopping?

Have you planned all your meals for the week? Maybe logging them in a weight loss app or writing them down would help, then you can factor snacks in or save calories for treats.

Remember losing inches is just as good as weight. Some members don't lose weight for weeks, then a lot comes off in one go.

    Hope this helps. 😊

  • Thank you for your help and kind words, there's loads of great advice there.

Eating wise I'm doing fine, it's more mentally at the moment; I have to some how keep going despite the adversity.

    Thank you x

  • You're welcome. Be kind to yourself 😊

  • Hello Rutie

Sorry you are having such a rotten time 😕

I have no words of wisdom that differ from isou, just want you to know we are all here for you 😊

  • Thank you :)

  • Hi Rutie - I'm new here so not much advice to give you but wanted to say I hope you have a better week this week. I" off also sounds good to me. You can do it. Take care, IndiaLJ

  • Good Luck with your journey also and well done on 1" off :)

  • Sometimes calories have to come second when our mind is all over the place on other things. Youve had other more stressful things to worry about. Well done you on not giving in and stopping exercising! An inch off is amazing! That 2lb will drop back off. Stress weighs about 2lb I think :) :)

  • I love that quote "Stress weights about 2lb I think" hehe thank you helped x

  • Just stay positive. As long as you feel good that's all that matters. You look amazing keep up the good work
