Hi I'm going to Vegas in April for my silver wedding an want to look an feel great. I would like to loose 14 pounds by then but I LOVE cake and wine!

Have a look at the NHS 12 week plan, as many people have had success with it. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate

We run daily weigh-in's and you would be very welcome to join today's, or any other, bar Monday and Tuesday, which are unfortunately full. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.

We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too

Wine will ruin any attempts for you to lose weight successfully and I don't even think I need to mention cake! A bottle of wine = around 500 - 600 calories. So it all comes down to CICO, (calories in, calories out), so do you love your wine and cake as much as you would love to get rid of 14lbs of fat? You can lose 14lbs easy by April if you stick to it, plenty of support on here and the 12 week plan works so it is down to you Tauty ,,,,,,

Tauty ask yourself which do you want more, to look fabulous in Vegas or the cake?? You can do it ☺

Hubby and I celebrate our 25th Anniversary in February and for the first time since I can fasten my wedding dress ☺ not quite back to my wedding day weight but almost. . . We can do this!! ☺☺☺

Know how hard it is but maybe if you keep reminding yourself of how you want to look Cut out a photo of an outfit you would like to wear or keep looking at your wedding photos it will spur you on You can easily do it by April Just think how disappointed and annoyed with yourself you will be if you don't do it We are all here to give you support

Try not to have wine or cake in the house it will all be so worth it
