A little bit about me

My name is Kris and I am 31 yo as of writing this.

I have a wonderful family consisting of my incredible wife and my amazing 3 children.

I work in IT so my job can be very stressful at times and juggling family life can add to that.

I am a worrier and I have been dealing with clinical depression coupled with anxiety for 2 1/2 years.

I have tried many diets and exercise programs in the past and have failed at them due to lack of interest of sticking to them or life got too stressful and I gave up.

The last time I weighed myself I was over 16st....my height is 5' 11" and my waist size i'd rather not say for now.

I am hoping that this Health Plan will help me make the changes to my life and allow me to live long and happy.

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

Take a look at the "Welcome Newbies" post in the pinned post section on the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. There's a link in the post for the nhs 12 week plan and a BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Feel free to join in with any challenges also in the pinned post section.

We have weigh-ins every day from Monday to Saturday Monday and Tuesday are FULL at the moment but you are welcome to join any day from Wednesday to Saturday.

Hi kdivers85 welcome to the weightloss forum. 👏 Hope you manage to complete your diet plan and do it well.

Have you looked at your bmi index on the weightloss forum. Everybody's calorie intake is different and this will tell you an amount of calories that will be good for you to make sure you eat between to be able to lose weight.

Hi Kris and welcome to the forum.. I'm a mum of 3 and also work in IT so understand the stress and juggling life especially with project pressure !

Everyone is really supportive on here and ive found joining the weekly weighin's (I do saturday) really helpful as it keeps you on plan and accountable for your own weight loss so you can pick a day that suits u best.

I've got 6st to lose and so I'm at the start of my journey as well but in this short time i already feel this is the best forum I've ever been part of as everyone is so positive and you can log on when it suits you and contribute if you want to.. but the best thing is it works round you and not when a local weigh class is on and when u would to be there at 6 to get weighed ... less stress for you !
