hi my name is tracey. I'm 43 next month and I have been on a life long diet. I have a fare few health problems which I know will be helped through diet. I have tried loads of diets which over three years have helped me loose 3st. but that's it, I came to a standstill. my love of bananas is spoiling things too, I cant just eat one, I eats 3/5 a day. I need support which I don't get much of. my son is helping me but me ex husband who is my best friend isn't. he keeps bringing me chocolate which he knows is my weakness. I am insulin dependant type 2 diabetic too. along with underactive thyroid, bipolar severe depression,
I do exercise as I love walking. my downfalls are chocolate diet fizzy pop, bananas and cookies but I only eat cookies when I buy them which isn't vvery often.

Be more fussy like Hyacinth Bouquet. Slice the banana really thinly and arrange it round the dish. Put a table spoon of plain live yoghurt in the middle, then sift some Green and Black's cocoa powder on top (Not drinking chocolate as that contains sugar) Eat very slowly with a teaspoon. Drink fizzy water with a squeeze of fresh lemon in a wine glass instead of diet pop.
Would you be able to show your ex what you've posted? It's best to get him on side, but if you can't do that, you are just going to have to throw the chocolate in the bin or at him! Get him to take you Salsa dancing as a treat instead.
You will feel so much better and be much healthier if you can transform your diet.
hi Tracey - there is a great doctor who is reversing Type 2 Diabetes with great success, here is a link to his free blog and in particular to the section asking "why can't i lose weight' good luck reading this and i wish you success in your journey. i promise it is not too technical and you might enjoy his articles which are all to do with the why of obesity and diabetes.
p.s stop buying bananas :)) - would you suggest to an alcoholic that they only buy half a bottle of gin? if bananas are your go-to addictive behaviour wave them goodbye (for a while)
