Welcome and we'll done for making a start. This site has really helped me and I hope it will do the same for you.

Recommend recording your meals everyday and joining a weigh-in thread: there's one every day of the week.

Thank you very much for the advice and encouragement it's greatly appreciated πŸ˜ƒ

Hi Hidden and welcome to the forum.

Check out the Welcome Newbies post in the pinned posts section (to the right of your screen on a pc, bottom on a mobile) - this contains some great info for starting out and navigating your way around the site.

It's important you eat the right amount of calories for you weight and height. Check out your allowance on the NHS BMI calculator as everybody's allowance is very individual.

nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Healthyw...

Take all of your before measurements and maybe a photo.

We run weigh-ins from Tuesday to Saturday and consider joining some of our challenges as they are fun and motivating.

Best of luck and looking forward to seeing you around. ☘

Hi there πŸ˜ƒ You certainly have your hands full with the little ones!! I also have 3 children and I understand how difficult it is especially when they are such a young age. Well done on your journey so far and for taking the steps to feel better about yourself πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life and also partly as a child and it's a vicious circle sometimes 😩 I have tried various diets and approaches to try to lose weight but each time I either give up when I don't see results or just find it too difficult counting points or measuring or restricting food groups. The NHS approach really seems to be the best out there for an all round healthy life style change and isn't at all restrictive so I'm gonna give it a go and fingers crossed results will come πŸ™ Lol thanks you for your support I really appreciate it and good luck with your journey let me know how your getting on and if I can help in any way please just ask πŸ˜ƒ
