But I've done it today and scaled saying I've put 1lbs on since yesterday πŸ˜• So no I'm thinking I'm eating tomuch yes I no it's not true reading but it gets me every time and this is when I start. Thinking about stopping.

Just had to vent this I want to succeed πŸ˜ƒ

If the scales have this effect on you Marv, I suggest you put them away and don't bring them out for a week! My weight can go up and down by pounds, on an hourly basis, never mind a daily basis!

It's going to take a couple of weeks, before you find a balance and even then, there will be constant tweaking involved!

Stop obsessing about the scales and start reading some of the success stories, but also the threads in the bumps along the road topic. Weight loss isn't linear and there will be many ups and downs on your journey. You just need to learn to go with the flow :)

All the best! :)

Totally agree, Marv, if you can, try to weigh yourself once a week instead of daily! Just research the benefits of weighing yourself weekly, it makes a lot more sense.

I agree with Moreless, you should step away from the scale! Weighing daily can show you the natural fluctuations in weight, but you're more likely to see a downward trend if you only step on them once a week!

Join us all on the Monday weigh in and make it one of your weekly goals to only weigh yourself once!

Good luck on your journey! 😁

If you live with someone else give them the scales to lock in the boot of their car and only allow you access to them once a week - this is a great sensible programme to follow with incredibly supportive people on this forum and you can do this! Good luck

I weigh everyday, it helps to keep me focused.

But I only record my weight once a week. It can be disheartening to see the scales go up and down but it is the overall trend that you need to focus on - not the daily ups and downs.

Or as others have said, you can hide the scales!! lol

Keep going you can do this. I use to do what you are doing and If I put on a 1lb or so it would just make me think what is the point. I moved my scales to the shed so not as easy to get to .
