That sounds positive, tomorrow should be a good day! What have you planned to eat?

Hi thanks for your message. At work till 7.30pm so will have oats and raspberries with semi skimmed. Got an apple, banana and yogurt for lunch and then baked potato and beans for dinner. Trying low cal 1200 if I can for a few days to give a quick start, then plan 1400 cal after that. Just to keep myself motivated I plan to post regularly as I think it will be a huge help to keep on track. Hope I don't bore anyone with my hoped for progress reports. Well done with the 7lb.

Thank you. You won't bore anyone with your progress reports - post away! There's a weekly weigh in if you want to join in with that. One on Mondays, one Thursdays and on on Fridays. There may be others too I'm not sure. Have you looked at the pinned posts? There's lots of helpful information in them. Have you looked at what your calorie requirements are, based on your current weight and activity level? You can do that via the My Fitness Pal app or,I think, by using the NHS bmi calculator.

You haven't failed until you stop trying.

Eat plants not what comes from a plant ! Thought that was a good saying I read today.

Go for quality not quantity and keep the faith. We're all here to help.

Do it this time doitthistime :)

Hi and welcome, Doitthistime :)

Go to the Pinned Posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile) and take a look at the Welcome Newbie thread. If you have any questions, look at the Topics below, to see if they'll help you out, or ask on the forum. Join any, or all of our challenges :)

We run daily weigh-in sessions and you would be very welcome to join us today, or any other day. The thread can be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom if using a mobile.

Many people have been successful with the 12 week plan, if that's something that you'd like to do. Don't forget to take initial measurements and photos, as it's a great way of seeing just how far you've come, especially when the scales aren't co-operating fully :)

Wishing you all the very best with your weight loss journey :)
