I'm 21, 4ft 10 and 12.5 stone. I've always been very slim until I had a diagnosis of possible endometriosis when I was younger, as I was too you for the surgery I was given then pill to take for 9 weeks and have a break then it would just repeat for a long time. I ended up depressed and putting on slot of weight and reaching 13 stone, I then joined slimming world and withing a few months I reached 10st 2. I then got pregnant with my daughter and ended up putting more weight on and can't seem to shift it this time. My daughter has been unwell since she was premature and I don't have time to cook proper healthy meals now or go to slimming world, I don't drive and the nearest one is at an inconvenient time. I suffer with anxiety and depression and don't feel comfortable attending a gym. Can anyone help with some tips or ideas on how I can lose weight without the gym and I also don't eat any seafood or red meat or dairy, so has anyone got any idea on what kind of meals will help?

I need some advice please :).
Hi Jess. Welcome to the site. Have a look at the newbiewl link at the bottom or right of this post.

Firstly, it sounds like you have a lot going on so be kind to yourself. A lot of people on here are following the NHS 12 week plan which is a simple plan with step by step targets and advice. Also have a look at the nhs live well site as there are links to healthy eating with really good family recipes and ideas. Also there are some great 10 minute exercise programmes that you could try at home if you have time.
Good luck!
Hi Jess, try iTunes for different exercises till you find what you like. Try different ones. Some I have exercised for two minutes and then just watched it and then got up again. Can you buy a Fitbit as that can be inspiring and help you try to beat your activity levels. Food wise do you cook Indian food as good for chicken or veggie. Do you like chick peas. Tell us what type of food you like and look up recipes on Jamie Oliver, Bbc food or other sites. Does experimenting with other food help. Biggest tips is telling yourself that you are like us that whatever the reasons in the past you will believe in changing habits no food choices and it's not simply a diet as that implies not normal food and it's about the new normal food for me that has worked. Keep believin... Keep daring you good moments and the challenges with us. I have had two good days this week and exercised thirty minutes in total in three days. That's better than nothing and know I will increase those weekly minutes over the next few weeks. Keep believin ..... 😊
