Can't stop thinking about eating and I've reached my calorie goal! Does anyone have any good tips for getting past the cravings?

if this a daily trend where u crave food at night... maybe try a 16:8 approach to eating so that you dont feel deprived when u crave food the most.

Also I find glass of water or cup of herbal tea also helpful !

Someone suggested to me painting my nails so I can't eat. I haven't done this but I have tried giving myself a face mask. This works well as it distracts me for 15 mins and makes my skin feel nice - win win!

This is a good post, will be interesting to hear other people's ideas. Think we will all need to resist at some point this month!

Crackerbread, 19 cals per slice dry, and without toppings they're soo dry they take a while to eat, so your getting the satisfaction of nibbling without too many cals😉 Good luck, resist sugar and fat, you'll do fine👍

(A sneaky bit of cottage cheese on said crackerbread is nice, even better with a drizzle of hot sauce to get the taste buds going👍)

Fruit tea and a bubble bath.

if you're still hungry after 30 mins eat a cucumber.

Oh and the old one , brush your teeth, apparently you don't feel like eating with sparkly clean nashers🤔 Never worked for me though☹️

Clean teeth works for me, or just give up and go to bed. Maybe you're not eating enough protein to keep you full?

I try to plan out what I'm going to eat for the day so that I have the mindset for it. I make sure I eat food that I enjoy otherwise I crave something satisfying. I find this works for me most of the time. Also doing some type of excuse, even if it's just a walk can distract me.

Good luck :)

I always say to myself that if I still crave something to eat in 15 minutes time, I'll have it. Usually by the time 15 minutes have past, I'll have come to my senses or I'll think 'Well, I've done without that snack so far, so I'll continue to do so.' Does wonders for my self esteem too - when I give myself a pat on the back for being so good!!

The more you stop ur self the more u will think of eating junk. Just give ur self a task and say I will eat (what ever in ur mind)when I finish this task.by the time u finish ur task u might not feel like eating.well that's how I distracte myself and it works let's say 80%
