It felt good to have a stretching walk this morning at the gym!!. Today I am trying to cut down on my carbs. But I do not think I can give it all up. I guess one day at a time and go for there and see what happens.

I started to reduced my carbs by not eating bread, so lunch would be salad or soup instead of the normal sandwich
However still needed some carbs for the evening meal, however, even the Christmas meal I only had one boiled potato and filled up on veg with a little turkey
I will still eat carbs but definitely reduced compared to what I used to eat - I still like a little rice with a curry etc, wouldn't be the same without (however loads less that what I used to eat carbs wise)
Would you eat a bit of dessert like fruit for a filler with your soup or salad. That is what I want to do. Reduce definitely starting today!
You can do things like swap jacket potatoes for sweet potatoes. Also I'll do things like spoon stirfry on a gem lettuce leaf with a small amount of rice then wrap it and eat, held in my hand. Great way to get through a lot of lettuce and reduce rice/carb element at the same time. There are loads of lettuce wrap ideas on google
