I had my son 3 years ago, before this I was very active and a healthy weight, but due to birth complications I am now 3 stone overweight, don't have time to get to a gym and have just lost all motivation. But I am now wanting to have another child but due to my weight gain my periods have stopped and so I am desperate to get back to a healthy weight and to help my body to hopefully get things on track again.

Desperate for a second child but weight holding me back
Hi Meader,
Welcome to the Weight loss NHS forum. Have you read our Welcome Newbie post yet? It's a good place to start to see the kind of things that other members have found helpful, and it's in the Pinned posts area if you'd like to take a look - right-hand-side of the homepage, or at the bottom of the screen if you're accessing via a mobile device.
Do join in with any of the Challenges going on in the forum, and maybe join us for tomorrow's Monday group weigh-in, if the idea of a weekly weigh-in group appeals. It's a supportive and friendly group, and you'd be very welcome to join us if you want to. I'll be posting the sessions tomorrow - and we always put a link to the latest thread in the Events section - below the Pinned posts.
Wishing you success with your goals, and I hope you have a great week. The NHS 12 week plan is a really good one, so I'd definitely recommend taking a look at that.
