Feeding a Cold

Due to her need to feed her cold, coupled with her desire for a hearty, home-cooked meal, I treated my poorly wife to 'a little bowl of heaven' (her words) by preparing sausage and bean casserole:

I guess it's that time of year. Still, it could have hit a few weeks further on, ruining the festive spirit. I'm glad that my cold occurred when it did; there's nothing worse than being ill at Xmas time

Not a fan of beans, or pulses..........somehow those slowcooker chickpeas were ok, love sausage tho!

I buy mine from the butchers, long thin chipolatas! Great comfort food!

Thanks Albino. She's over the worst of it now, as she's hurrying me to get ready this morning, so we can go Xmas shopping
