Well I finally did it. I plucked up the courage to get out there and go far it. Not a very nice morning, bit damp and misty, but I did it.

Left ankle behaved itself, not even a twinge, however right calf muscle decided on the last run to gave up, so I had to stretch it out and hobble home.

Will have to make sure I give it a good stretch before the next run.

  • Well done you, keep it up, I find exercise helps beat stress. :)

  • I stretch out most days as part of my cardio cool downs. Got into it last year when I had a stint of hip bursitis, can't beat a good stretch.

  • make sure u dnt push it too hard,too quickly,r u doing strengthing exercises on your ankle,recommended to me by physio afta surgery 4 MThs ago ,just up to 6mile a week now n taking it real slow,good luck
