In my first week but its going ok

Hi, for all you newcomers or for those who need encouragement, I am on day 5 of my first week and I think its going ok. Im doing a mixture of low carb and calorie counting. I just hope on Monday I see some results. Its so hard not weighing myself in between weigh in's but I don't want to get obsessed as I have been before. Perhaps if I don't lose a lot I might not be so good at not weighing, but we will see. I found this site so encouraging and helpful I couldn't do it without looking a posts on here.

Lets all keep going...

  • Just remember, what you are doing is helping your body, even if you don't always see it on the scales or the tape measure (they don't measure everything).

Good luck and see you here on Monday!

  • The very best of luck to you, angelainexeter. I am also on week 1. I cannot deny I have thought about results, already. I guess we all want to know our efforts are worthwhile. I'll hope to see you on Monday.

  • Really glad to hear that it's all going well Angela, you'll learn to love mondays, as we do :)

    Fingers crossed for a great weigh-in! :)

  • Hi Angela

I feel confident that you have list weight. I know Sunday you will be a happy lady ☺

  • I know just how you feel, that longing for 'results'. I have been on here for about 6 weeks now and at first the weight was slow to shift, (not saying it will necessarily be that way for you) but it's coming off nicely now! Keep're doing the right thing! :-)

  • Hi there! :)

I am sure you'll have lost some weight so good luck for Monday. :)

Take care and all the best!

  • Good luck for Monday 😊 But remember, fat loss shows itself in many ways, not all immediately visible on the scales 😊

  • Im fairly active but my diet is not good really looking forward to joining this group weighing honestly to and asking for help and support instead of overeating g alone with guilt if I eat anything wrong at all. Let's get started
