Week 3 for me!

Week 3 for me!

Just into week 3.

Have been uploading my calories etc to nutracheck. Still don't feel I know what I'm doing yet. Have joined the Monday weigh-in and have been going to the gym.

I have lost a little weight & amazingly 5cm off my waist. But have many food intolerances/allergies so am often swollen. I am currently awaiting allergy tests. Anyhoo, my friend suggested I take some before photos & I've decided to take her advice before I lose anymore & post them here. A bit nervous but here goes...

  • You're doing well. Good luck πŸ‘

  • Thank you! πŸ˜€

  • Hi Clinicalgirl

Posting photos is a bit daunting, so well done. At some point you will be proud of your 'after' photo. I didn't take a 'before' one and wished I had πŸ˜’

You are doing all the right things, counting and recording calories and exercising, so the weight will go down. It can be confusing at first (took me ages to sort out what I could or shouldn't have), but with time and meal planning, it will get a lot easier. πŸ‘

I hope you get your allergy tests done quickly so you can get yourself into a routine πŸ˜„

    Good luck πŸ€

  • Thank you Mouse.

I'm tackling one hurdle at a time. I have also started a new job. Have had a couple of scary reactions, so I'm looking forward to getting to the bottom of it & planning around what I have to avoid. I'm already gluten free so shouldn't find any adaptations too difficult. 😁

I have a BIG birthday next May/June so hope to have photos I'm proud of then. πŸŽ‰

Yes my partner and I need to get more organised planning meals etc. He is following a different plan, but we are able to support one another. πŸ‹

The more I am on here the better I think I will do.

    Thanks again

    Have you taken some photos?

I'm glad I also took my waist measurement. For although I've only lost 4.5 lbs over two weeks, I've lost 5cm from my waist! πŸ˜‡

  • That's is an excellent weight loss! To expect any faster really isn't advisable 😊 Very well done Clinicalgirl you are doing really well 😊 These things take time, the longer you stick to plan the easier it gets 😊 Have you been referred to a dietician? They are the experts with regards to juggling weight loss with food allergies.

Good luck and very best wishes 😊 I look forward to seeing more photos of you disappearing before our eyes😊😊😊
