Newbie: Hi everyone I am new to the site and... - Weight Loss NHS
Hi Leah and welcome!
This is a great forum and you've definitely come to the right place. Many of us have/are using the NHS 12-week plan, which you can find on the right hand side of the screen. It's got all sorts of useful advice and tips to get you started. I like it as it's a new, healthy lifestyle rather than a diet. Definitely what I was looking for to be the new, healthier me!
There's all sorts of challenges you can join and a Monday weigh in, all on the pinned posts to the right of the screen. Feel free to join anything that takes your fancy, don't worry if the challenge has already started as all are welcome at any time.
I'm sure one of the admin types will be around to welcome you, but in the meantime good luck on the start of your journey.
Hi and welcome Leah
I think VickyDLM has covered all the bases, but just in case,
Take a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread, it has a link to the NHS 12 week plan, which is a guide to healthy living, rather that a specific diet plan.
Look at the Topics section beneath that, for posts that could answer any questions you may have.
Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating.
Join us for the monday group weigh-in. If you follow Zest and myself , you'll be notified when we post the thread. However, the latest thread can always be found in the events section, to the right of the home page.
Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration
Wishing you all the very best
Hello Diane25 and a very warm welcome to the weight Loss Forum
If you haven’t already then please read the Welcome post here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... please read it carefully and just ask if you have any questions.
Ps. You’ve actually replied to a very old post, so may not get much response 😕
