Fibre overload?!

Just curious - my first week on the 12 week plan. I did really well increasing my fibre at every meal however the last few days my stomach has not been great. Initially thought perhaps I was ill but then read about problems if you increase too quickly. Yesterday kept the fibre down and today much better.... has anyone else experienced this? Now trying to work out how to increase without overloading - a mini challenge for the week to come? Also, can anyone tell me if you have to stick to the same weigh in group time? Does it affect the stats if you move around? Thank you.

HI Newbiewl,

I hope you're enjoying your first week on the NHS 12 week plan. It is advisable to build up your fibre amount gradually, because otherwise you could experience discomfort. Also ensuring you keep hydrated is important too.

Most people do weigh at a consistent time, as weight does vary a lot over the course of the day.

If you would like to join us for the Monday group weigh-in sessions, then you can opt to pop over to give your result at whatever time of day suits you best, as we're around all day and in the evening too. So do join us there if you want to be part of a larger weigh-in group. It's a supportive group.

Wishing you a great week.

Lowcal :-)
