I know this is not weight related but I have to tell, my Granddaughter, who is 14 has today got an 'A' in maths GCSE, she's taken it two years early. I'm so proud of her she's such a lovely girl too. Now that will make me want to lose weight 👏👏👏

When I was 14 I wanted to be an astrophysicist. Didn't actually turn out that way! I could do the science or I could do the math, but not actually both at the same time!

I promised her new bedroom furniture and redecorate as she'd worked so hard. She loves maths, which is a bit hard for me to understand. Maybe she can takeaway my unwanted stones 😀, no, even she is not that clever 😂😂.

I too loved maths at school and still enjoy working with numbers it was the science I was absolutely rubbish at, how I managed to get a CSE when I had never even lit a Bunsen burner till the actual exam is beyond me lol

It's not so bad Itsbab, she's into IKEA, I have a feeling the wallpaper and getting it hung will be more expensive it's not one of her Dad and Mums talents. She has looked forward to this, mood board has been worked out for a while. It's a pleasure to be included.

I don't know if they do that, she goes to a state academy, they don't always get good press but it seems to work for her. She just loves school, which makes life easier.

Brilliant result. I can identify with how proud you feel. Many years ago when I got the news that my son had gained a first class honours degree in law, I think I told everyone who stood still long enough to listen !
