Spicing up air popped popcorn...

As we all know air popped popcorn is only 100 cals for three cupfuls...however devoid of butter with salt or sugar it can taste a little bland. Just popped some then coated with an Indian spice mix called Panch Phoron (Indian Five Spice Blend)which consists of the following ground seeds: Cumin, Brown Mustard, Fenugreek, Nigella and Fennel. Tastes yummy...Going to experiment with other flavours over the course of the week.

Ohhh Hidden that sounds yummy 😀

I love popcorn but I buy the little bags of Metcalfes skinny popcorn. They are sweet and salty but only 78 calories a pack (17g).

They hit the spot on a film night ... or any night 😉 lol x

Ooo nice! I just can't bring myself to have non-sweet popcorn. I throw in a tablespoon of icing sugar as soon as I take the popcorn off the heat, it melts and gives a nice cinema-sweet edge to it. I'd only have around 1.5 cupfuls.

Next one we're going to try is a spice mix for pumpkin pie that might taste a bit sweet even without sugar ;)
