So I have thought of starting this new plan, seeing that I am very unmotivated and in general feel very sluggish the past few months.
I take healthy eating and exercise very seriously. For some reason however I can just not get into a rhythm anymore. I do simply not want to do anything about it, and at the same time it bugs me so much. I know however that this is not a place do become all down-beaten with yourself, I just have to suck it up and stop feeling sorry for myself and stop feeling like I do (even though at the moment I feel like sobbing in a corner).
I am or was normally into Yoga, HIIT and anything that is exciting enough. I get bored really easily but for years now that has worked for me. So I need to get my ''mojo'' back and get my mind into the right gear and get my behind off the coach and do something. I know I must just simply force myself, because I have picked up weight (and my new habit of eating my feelings has to stop). I realize it is not how I normally act and I just have to learn to love myself, exercise and start making new good habits again. My BMI says I am in a healthy condition but my clothes says differently. I'm listening to the clothes instead.
It feels the only way I will be able to a positive start is to write about it. I just hope it works. I truly hope this new plan works, because I need to be able to fit into my normal jeans again... my goodness... jeans don't grow on trees and I refuse to buy new ones.
So this is me, committing to myself and this new plan.

Welcome to the NHS weight loss forum, and it's great to hear you're going to be starting the NHS 12 week plan. Have you read our Welcome Newbie post - it's in the Pinned posts area - top right-hand side of the homepage, and it's worth a read. We have a Monday group weigh-in, so do join us for that if you like the idea of weighing in with a supportive and friendly group of people. We average about 120 weighers on that day. See the Events section (below the Pinned posts) for the latest thread, so you can see what it's like.
Learning new habits takes time, and each day we have the opportunity to take one more step 😊 Just do one thing, cut out snacks, go for a walk, plan a healthy meal, drink more water, whatever, just one thing each day, 😊 You don't get to be an expert overnight!! Be kind to yourself and have some self belief 😊
Hello BVR1! Welcome! Hope you start your day with a big smile. I am new to this too.... just one thing at a time not everything will come out in one day. So take more positivism in your routine and lets start with the right foot!
