Say a quarter (62.5ml) is milk, that's 25.75 cals. There is 1.5 calories in the rest of the cup (minus milk) so 27.25cals

:D

Tea whole milk on nutracheck 22 calories so semi skimmed will be less.

I just did some awful working out then :x

No nutracheck is my bible. I am impressed with your working our. 😆

Tea has 0 calories it will depend on how much milk you put in, measure how much semi skimmed milk you use. Tescos semi skimmed milk has 5 calories per 10ml.

I usually estimate 15calories per mug for myself as i have about 30ml.

Good question, I'm a tea guzzler myself and would love to know how much cals I'm drinking. I have milk (semi-skimmed) but no sugar.

Green tea is actually great for improving metabolism and helping you burn calories.

I tend to have tea with skimmed milk and no sugar/sweetener during the day. It tasted really watery to begin with, but I quite like it now :)

I measure out 500ml skimmed milk (175 cals) for the day and have this in teas and coffees plus on cereal. Then I can have as many drinks as wanted and not be concerned about the calories.

I believe that 500ml semi-skimmed milk is about 250 cals. If I have tea or coffee when out, then it has to be 'guestimated' but doesn't matter too much if it's a few cals out as it doesn't happen very often.

Apologies for virtually duplicating your reply to shadow2foxy. I had not taken the time to read all the replies😰

I know the first time I tried to calculate the calories in tea I went nuts because I couldn't find the calorie content in any tea. Come to find out there isn't any. I felt beyond stupid, lol.

Why not measure out and count a milk allowance for the day then you can use it as you like and know it is already counted. That is how I cope with my tea passion. Personally I allow 1 pint / day. If I go over that obviously I then have to calculate but I find that a very rare occurrence even when I have had cereal.
