Hi all, After being on our fantastic 6-week tandem tour in France where I ate anything and everything I fancied, and still lost 1.5Kg. I now have to get back to the real world. I have to check my intake as I am not cycling for 7hours every day and I think I can see the scales slowly creon my journey see whether I can lose the next 10Kg. Good luck to all of us out here in weightlossland

Hi Mammou,

Welcome back from your holiday - sounds like it was really good! Welcome to the NHS weight loss community - have you read our Welcome Newbie post? I'm not sure how long you've been a member, but I just wanted to welcome you!

Oops, you've been a member for about 3 months, so I do apologise for not recognising you! :-) You hopefully already know your way around the site, and I hope you have a really great week.

Lowcal :-)

Thanks for the welcome #Lowcal I feel like a newbie as I have been off the calorie count for at least 2 months :) but as I said, the biking helped a lot with the intake. I now have to start looking to balance intake and output again hehehe

Thanks Anna for the welcome. It always feels good that there are people out there on the same journey :)

Wow thats amazing, it sounds like a great holiday. Did you just do on your own or did you book through a company and have a guide? My husband and I are considering something similar in the Netherlands.

Good luck with the reboot, im sure you will do well :)

Hi, we did it on our own and all I can say is that it was one heck of an experience. We did a tour in 2014 cycling from Cambridge to Assissi(took us 8weeks) and enjoyed it as well. If you want to find out more about our planning trials and tribulations, please feel free to read our blogs It is at www,.crazyguyonabike.com/boxofchocolates and the previous one is on crazyguyonabike.com/turnleft. The Netherlands would be a great one to do and it has the most wonderful cycling track and routes. Who knows, we might even meet up on one of these cycling trips :) As I am not a camper, we did our rooms thru bookings.com and cycle tracks thru google and mapmyride sites. Good luck on planning and please feel free to contact me for more input.

Here goes the reboot!!
