Hello I'm new here. this is my first day posting. I have been trying to lose 50 lbs and have only been only to lose 23 in the past 18 months. I have type 2 diabetes but I have gotten stuck and lost motivation going to the gym and walking. Looking for motivation to reach my goals.

Please check out the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation group on HU. You can post and read what other members have said. You can also go on the Diabetes Research and Wellness website. It is: drwf.org.uk. Click on the leaflets section and you can either download information, or listen to it.
I hope this can help!

Hi Pamelaj48,
Welcome! I think Activity2004 has given you some excellent links there.
I would also like to point out our Pinned posts area, top right-hand-side of the homepage, where there is our Welcome Newbie post, which is a really good read - and has information about what is available here in the Weight Loss NHS community forum. Just join in with anything you like the look of, and I'd like to wish you a great first week.

Hi! I'd just like to say that TWENTY THREE POUNDS! is a lot! Well done! I imagine diabetes makes it harder so feel proud! Not down! Go on. Set foot out the door now. Say to yourself you're only doing 5 minutes. Works for me!
