HI all i can across this site while looking for a Calorie counter loosing weight sites are like rocket science and all want a lot of money in the process. So about me im 34 male im 13 stone and i have a beer gut even though i dont drink a lot. im getting married next year to my wonderful soul mate and we both want to be in good shape. we live in the back arus of nowhere so no gyms but we have lovely countryside to walk which we have started.
so now begins my new journey and im glad i found this site and the wonderful community to go along with. so where is a good place to start ? any and all advice is greatly welcome.

Hi, how lovely to have found your soul mate and together starting a healthy, fitter way of life, how romantic walking together in the countryside. Walking is a great form of exercise but if you feel like upping the tempo a bit without going to a gym there are some good power walking videos on YouTube. I agree with Lowcal, the NHS 12 week plan is a good place to start, full of helpful tips to get you going.
