Hi Gid,

Welcome! I'd recommend reading our Welcome Newbie post - see Pinned posts (top right-hand-side of the homepage) as a starting point. Many of us follow the NHS 12 week plan, which is really good. We have numerous challenges going on (see Pinned posts for those) and today is our Monday group weigh-in - here's a link to that incase you're interested in joining us!

You'd be very welcome.

Have a great week!

Hi, how lovely to have found your soul mate and together starting a healthy, fitter way of life, how romantic walking together in the countryside. Walking is a great form of exercise but if you feel like upping the tempo a bit without going to a gym there are some good power walking videos on YouTube. I agree with Lowcal, the NHS 12 week plan is a good place to start, full of helpful tips to get you going.
