Welcome to the Weight Loss NhS forum, and it's great that you're here. I hope you'll enjoy it and find your way around ok. Do have a look at our Pinned Posts (if you look at the homepage, and then to the right-hand-side you'll see the Pinned posts at the top, and then under them there is an Events section, where the Monday group weigh-in is situated. The next weigh-in will be Monday, so do join us if you like the idea of a weekly weigh-in.
The NHS 12 week plan is really good, so definitely worth a look, and the Welcome Newbie post (Pinned Post) is a really good read.
Just join in with anything you like the look of, there are numerous Challenges going on in the forum at the moment as well.

Same with me I hit 50 this year and need to sort myself out. I started the plan yesterday and also did some excersise so feeling positive to start but know it will be a long hard slog. Good luck - Ali 😀
