Please make the bad news stop :(

So started again on Monday all going well. Got up on Tuesday to a poorly rabbit and I had to make the heart wrenching decision to have her put to sleep. Then my mam told me my nana has cancer inoperable.

So stuff the diet this week. I will eat what I like when I like. I need a drink or 2. Pick my self up and start again on Tuesday.

I am so sad and so angry right now. Cried too much, have had a headache for 2 days and just want to sleep.

    Very sorry to hear about you having to have your rabbit put down and the very upsetting news about your grandmother too.

  • I'm sorry to hear about your rabbit and your nana. It must be a hard time for you. I'm sure we've all been there, when my gran was dying I couldn't work. It's hard to carry on any routine let alone a diet. Just allow yourself time and promise yourself you'll do it another day. Sending hugs xx

  • So sad to hear about the rabbit and even more so about your nan. Unfortunately that's the way life is at times and if you need to turn to food to help you cope then that's what you have to do. However, for many of us this is why we have weight problems, although it may sound harsh, and I don't mean it too, is that food and drink really going to make you feel better in the long run, if you're like me you will just feel worse when the guilt sets in.

    Hope you can cope without sabotaging yourself xxx

  • Thanks for ur support. Thus is also why I am like this. I have depression long term and very stressful job. I always turn to food to make me feel better...just stuck in that frame if mind from when i was in an abusive relationship 22 years ago. I am trying not to go back to food and was under my calorie goal yesterday. So not too bad :)

    I hope this doesn't sound harsh. Find a healthier way of coping with stress; you don't want your loved ones to suffer bad news regarding your health any time soon.
