After months of procrastination I have finally taken the plunge and started my own weight loss journey. I have only recently joined this forum and am finding it very helpful and motivational - I wish I'd found it earlier!
So what started by journey - it was watching Saturday Kitchen a few weeks ago where they were preparing a kidney. It came wrapped in a thick layer of white solid fat and I just thought thats probably what my insides are like!
That was it. I started 2 months ago at 17st1 and am now 15st. This has been through changing to a mediteranean style diet, drinking more water (at least 2L per day), exercise (exercise bike & NHS Strengh & Flex) with rest days in between (v important) and mindfullness.
I keep looking at at NHS Couch 2 5K too but can't quite get there yet.
This is a great forum and I will be visiting more often now.
