LE JOG....Lots of calories required!

I had to feed a guest last night who turned up on a bike; he requested "as many calories as possible" which makes a change!  Turns out he was doing Le Jog which is LANDS END to JOHN O'GROATS cycle ride!  I fed him extra rolls, a cheesy starter and extra meat on his main meal; he refused pudding (full up!)  Needless to say, there wasn't an ounce of spare flesh on him!

  • Not heard of this 😊 How interesting 😊 Hope he makes it, by the time he gets to me he will be almost finished!! Lol (ie we live in north Scotland not that he will be physically done!) 

  • LEJOG is very popular with cyclists.. Sometimes they do JOGLE but most seem to go LEJOG to go with the prevailing winds... 

  • My eldest son used to row, advice given 5, 000 cals a day!

  • Now that is another good way to burn calories!  My excuse, only streams near me.....
