Oh well . . . day five arrived and I totally succumbed to, too many biscuits and have been on the slippery slope ever since and gained a kilo. Not a great start to the 12 weeks plan! feel disheartened and disappointed in myself!

Don't be disheartned, i know its difficult. Brush it off and start again tomorrow with a clean head.

i've found not buying foods that i can't be trusted with and it seems to work or to find a healthier alternative. I recently bought some go ahead biscuits they come in small packets but they're 98 calories, might be worth a look and they taste really good!

Keep going you can do it!

Don't be too harsh on yourself tomorrow is a new day. Do you have a motivational photo or piece of clothing to help you when you have the urge to go off plan? Get back on track and you will have that kilo off in no time.

Weight can vary a lot so it is just a blip, 😕 Good luck getting back on track! 😊

Don't feel disheartened. Today is a new day and what happened yesterday is history.

If it's easier, don't have biscuits in the house so you can't graze on them :)

Totally agree make it easier for yourself by getting rid of all temptations in the house.

You only fail if you don't get back up again. Grit your teeth and get back on the wagon. Your will power will get stronger every time you get back up. Don't let those cravings win!

Listen to what ever body is saying ...we know we have been there! Today is another today ...remind yourself why you wanted to do it in the first place and get back on board...think of those lovely summer outfits😊

hi, we have all been there; but that was yesterday, don't see today as starting over again but see it as carrying on, all be it, after a little blip. Try to get in a bit of extra exercise today, take the stairs (even if you don't have to) walk a bit faster, park the car further away from the shops or work, get on the bus 1 stop further on. There are loads of things you can do from now on and I am sure yesterday will soon fade into insignificance. Good luck.

The good thing is that tomorrow is a new day and a new start.

I remember years ago reading an article about people who tended to be slim and eat 'normally'. It was found that instinctively that if they ate a lot one day they cut down the next day. (Without even really thinking about it).

I think with 'us' or with me at least I think 'Oh gosh, I have ruined it all, I might as well give up!. Then proceed to eat more and more and bad things of course. Perhaps that is why we have weekly weigh-ins since it is the whole week that counts not just one day.

Tomorrow is a new day, and on that day (day by day) we do the best we can.

Well you've had your practice.  Just start at Day 1 again tomorrow!   It is the dieters who get back onto their planned eating who lose weight because we all have blips, and little mini binges.  It is part of learning about yourself and managing your intake.  Don't think of it as a disaster, think of it as a learning opportunity.  What would you do if faced by the same temptation again?  Learn from it, then it will save you from future problems, well some of them anyway.  I had a 100kcal muesli bar today.  I wasn't planning on anything like that.  But I was super hungry even though I had eaten lunch a couple of hours earlier.  And we had run out of vege soup, which is my usual go to snack.  I have just added it to my total and carried on.  Because I know there were 6 other days this week when I didn't need an unplanned snack.  Once upon a time, it would have been every other day.  You will learn, if you keep going.

what lovely words of encouragement 😊

Just keep thinking what you want to see on the scales at next weigh in.
