Am ready now!

Even though I joined this group about 8 weeks ago, i have always consoled myself about how i was still in good shape, and i didn't need to do as much as everyone else to lose. I only made little lifestyle changes, and kept everything else nearly normal, completely obeyed all of my cravings. I have not lost any weight! i have infact added some more weight since then! My clothes are now tighter! Am sad, and am ready now! Ready to listen to everyone's tip, and put in as much effort as everyone else. Today is the first day of the rest of my life! and I am now determined to lose all i can over the next 12 weeks. I need all the support I can get

  • You've got support here Peju! It seems you're ready now, just setting the intention a little while ago means you can throw yourself into it now! Use an app to count your calories, plan your meals and snacks and cut out sugar and use the support on here! Good luck x

  • No more excuses!  We have to be brutally honest and log or write down every bit of food and drink that goes in, and ignore the weather and get moving outside, or even in our own lounge with a video.....it is so easy to slip back into old habits.  Good luck with the coming weeks!

  • Hi Peju. Its all about making sure you are consuming less calories than you need and moving more. I think just making little changes probably does not put you under the calorie limit  enough to make any difference.  Find out what your calorie allowance is per day and stick to it. Do as much exercise as you can and I am sure you will see results on the scales very soon. Lots of support on here - best of luck :)
