Hi, Just wondering if anyone else finds that when using a cross trainer their feet go to sleep after about 20 minutes or so, I do try to lift my feet and flex my toes every now and again yet it still keeps happening

Hi elacol

I have the same problem, although it is getting better. I find that different types of shoes affect this as they may cut off the blood circulation to your toes... Rather than running shoes I'm currently using hiking/trainer type shoes, they are sturdy but quite lose fitting on the sides and top, unlike running shoes, which tend to be quite snug. But with these I can go over 30-40 minutes before my feet start to feel numb.

Try on different shoes, you may find a pair that lets you work out for longer... :)

I also found it helps if you just go off the machine for a few minutes, just walk around and then get straight back on.

Hi Elacol68,

I've not experienced that, but I rarely stay on the cross trainer for that long.  I usually go on the treadmill for a relatively long time, and the cross trainer will only be for about 15 minutes.

Hope you can find a way to solve it - Foodie87  's suggestions sound good.
