Hi All😁

So I am new to the 12 week count down, starting tomorrow healthy eating tomorrow.

I weighed myself today and realised how much weight I have let creep on and now the bmi calculator has declared me obese I need to shake my self up and commit to a plan . 

I have never used a forum before to help me soooo maybe this is my missing secret weapon against my bulge.😁

    Welcome to the forum!  It's great to hear you'll be starting the NHS 12 week plan tomorrow, and I'd like to wish you success.  We have a Welcome Newbie thread, which a lovely member called moreless has put together, and I'd like to give you the link:


    There are lots of things going on in the forum, and if you look through that thread you'll see many of the things people like about the forum.  The Pinned posts section (top right-hand-side of the homepage) is also a good place to find interesting posts, and in the Events section (further down) there is a link to the latest Monday group weigh-in - so if you like the idea of a weekly weigh-in, I hope you'll join us!

    The next weigh-in session will be Easter Monday!

  • Hi Tt14. This forum is great. It makes you realise you are not alone in your quest for losing weight and getting fitter and healthier. There are always new comments to read and someone always replies to any questions you post. The Monday weigh in is great too. It's good to see how other people are doing. Good luck and I hope this forum helps you get to the weight you want to be.

  • hi I am new to this too ,,,got a lot to lose for better health but going to breakdown the weight loss into realistic acheiveable goals ,,,,that way it wont seem so much of a task.

    BTW anyone got tips for shift workers?

    Positivity is the key so I am glad you are both sounding determined 😊

    Planning is my solution, meal plans and packed lunches etc, shifts could be  problematic so even more important 😊

    I'm starting today.  I need to lose 3 stone and my BMI states I'm overweight - as if I need telling!  Anyway, off to weigh in and measure waist.  Wish me well Please
