I am now a further 4lbs down, and along with the IVF have another reason for losing some of this weight. My husband has PKD and is in renal failure. Turns out, you can now donate no matter if your a match, as you are able to basically swap/pool organs with other people in need. I desperately want to help my husband in whatever means possible. Need lots of motivation!! every little scrap of help and guidance is much appreciated too!! <3

I didn't know that about kidney transplants, hasn't medicine come a long way recently?

My advice would be all over the place, but just stick with the diet, eat enough and move around as much as you can within your capabilities and you will do fine.

4lb down is great so it looks like you are on the right track So much motivation for you and I really hope you can do it and have a happy healthy family.

Hi there yes I know what your saying, one of my husbands relatives had a kidney transplant about 20 years ago and now needs another and this is what they are doing. It takes time and patience and they do like " stress tests" to see if you qualify or can cope with the operation etc. I wish you well.
