Take your measurements

Weight loss slow. 7 pounds in 6 weeks but inches are coming off. An inch off each thigh - they do seem to fight less past each other, and 2 inches less boobies. Happy days.

What great results! Everything in a downward trend. A pound a week is just right, especially if it keeps coming off. 😊

well done, inches are as important as scales :-)

Slow is good! It took me a year to lose 30 lbs and even at the beginning that was no more than 5 lbs per month and slower later. BUT ( and it's an important BUT ) I started in Apr 2014 , reached my target weight in Apr 2015, and I have kept it off for the past 11 months. Slow and steady wins the race 😁

Hi Happymary,

It can definitely help to take the body measurements - brilliant to hear you're getting some great results.

Wishing you another great week ahead.

Lowcal :-)

Magic Mary, slow is better. You can't expect to loose in a few weeks what may have taken you years to put on. You are doing perfect and reaping the reward. good on you

Great news 😊 And well done to all the long-timers 😊 My loss is also slow (7 months, 2st 2lbs) and am now trying to break through a plateau . . . Inches have gone which is good and I am feeling so much better but worry this is it, my body will always be this size/shape 😕 I have no where to hide, no more calories to cut so to speak, and still 2stone+ to lose 😕

Try not to think of it as a plateau...your blessed the inches have come off although you want more. Change your eating habits, more protein- meats and seafood. Limit dairy and any snacks. Exercise even if it's walking, buy a dog to get moving- one from the pound to save his/her life.

Best of luck!

Thank you, have dropped my calories by 100 a day and upped the exercise, Mostly To kick start me after a holiday (I managed to,lose a pound whilst away so am going the right way!) I am just impatient I suppose, 6 lbs off since mid December, so not bad considering Christmas and a fortnight so holiday 😊
