Friday weigh in

Two weeks ago 12.6st this week (apres ski!) 12.7st. So to skiing... we arrived at a gorgeous hotel with buffets on tap. My instinct for the first couple of days was to eat anything in sight being on holiday. However!! As I realised that we would be skiing all day and I gradually got into the exercise the need to eat thankfully decreased. It was a wonderful week and I have come back feeling very inspired to up the fitness levels (I did struggle towards the end of the week to even get out of bed I ached so much!) And lose more weight. I am so grateful for the weight loss so far, I would have really struggled otherwise! So 1 pound gain, I am on the monthlies at the moment so am relieved it wasn't more of a gain. Aiming to lose some weight though next week. I hope everyone else's week is going well ☺

    I'm so glad to hear what a lovely time you had on your skiing holiday, and the fact you've come back with a small 1 pound gain is brilliant, especially as you're also on your monthly at the moment as well. I think you've done so well. That very small gain will soon be off again, and you're sounding fit and focused to go forward - which means you're in a great mindset to succeed.

  • Thanks Flossie am feeling really up for a healthier time again. May need to rethink how to kick start the weight loss as it has been abit slow lately. Aiming at losing a stone by August. Wish me luck. Have a lovely weekend 😊

  • my secret to a good week's skiing is ibuprofen - first thing in the morning and again at lunchtime. Without it, i would never get my boots on on the second day! i too gained a kg in my week of skiing, but feel it was worth it and have (fingers crossed) now lost that kg.
