All inclusive vacation trashed my willpower

Just finishing up a week of eating massive amounts of food at an all inclusive resort. There were plenty of healthy choices which I did adhere to but the temptation was there all the same. I'm hoping to get to the gym this week

I hope you enjoyed your holiday - great that you chose some healthy choices in your all inclusive resort. I can imagine there were lots of temptations. Hope you are able to get to the gym, as per your plan. Good luck!

I know the feeling ! We went on a cruise last December and it was tough.

Well you can't alter the past. But you can control what you do from now on. You didn't mention what your holiday has done at the scales. Do weigh as normal so that you know what you are dealing with. If you have piled the lbs on, they can come off really quickly if you get back to healthy eating immediately. I must admit it took me several holidays of putting weight on and just managing to lose it before the next one, before I realised what I was doing to myself and started to manage my eating on holidays too. But it really depends how many you have. If it's one holiday a year, then you can just take the brakes off. But walk and exercise as much as you can. If you are having several holidays a year, then you might need to look at this again. Even super skinny people often put on lbs during holidays and over Christmas etc. So it is normal to do that. Don't beat yourself up, just get straight back on it. Then it's not a disaster just a blip!
