Hi all to motivate me to go from sofa to 5k I have just signed up for local race for life along seafront in Worthing now just got to get myself there, wish me luck

Good luck - Race for Life's are excellent (and you get a medal :-D). Our local one has been cancelled this year due to a lack of numbers But I'm doing the 10k one in my next closest place

To train for it there is an app called couch to 5k. I'm doing it at the moment its really good.

Good luck I did the race for life 14 yrs ago in Edinburgh I was 50 and walked most of the way especially the hills due to health problems it was a great experience and I still have the medal although it's a bit tarnish now like me ☺

Yay go for it! I'm doing one in June! I'm on my last week of C25K this week and I've loved it! I even completed 5K last week, it was awesome.

If I can do it anyone can...
