End of week three

Have now lost a total of 12 1/2lbs over the course of three weeks, it's definitely starting to get a little easier and hopefully the healthier eating choices are becoming more of a habit than a chore. Even managed to chose a healthy choice meal whilst eating out which I've never been able to do in the past. Onwards and upwards with everything expect the weighing scales I want this to be the heaviest I will ever be.

Hi Sarahjess2006,

Congratulations on losing 12.5 pounds over the past 3 weeks, that is fantastic! :-) Great that it's starting to get a little easier, and that you're finding the healthier eating choices to come more naturally to you now. Well done for choosing a healthy meal choice whilst eating out - that's definitely an achievement.

Wishing you another great week ahead.

Lowcal :-)

We must have started around the same time, I've lost about 8 lbs so am really pleased, I'm finding this the best diet planner ever, having tried loads of them! You're doing brilliantly, well done.

So have you, this is the first time I've ever truly been motivated I don't know whether it's this diet as I've tried all the others in the past or whether it's just I've finally had enough of being rotund and unhealthy for far too long but whatever the reason I hope it keeps up 😃

Aren't you the clever one, managing to eat out and not wreck the day or the week? I felt I'd really become invincible the first time I managed that. Didn't know then, that practice might not make me perfect! But you might be a fast learner. I've always felt like a remedial dieter!

I'm under no illusion that times are going to get hard, I've been lucky so far in that I have that much to lose that even if I do have a bad few meals it's still going to amount to somewhat of a loss due to the drastic change in diet from before. Not looking forward to the day I weigh I'm and it's no longer a loss just need to keep at it and not lose faith. It definitely helps being able to speak to like minded people about it. Starting to realise that this isn't a diet as such but a complete lifestyle over haul and one that I will have to be on for the rest of my life to keep the weight off for good.

SarahJess,

I know. I have lots of "when I get to goal I'm going to..." thoughts. From the fun, have a cocktail 2 or 3 times a week, to the boring, I might start having a tablespoon of olive oil every day on salad etc. Don't think I've quite internalised the "this is for life" concept. Though I know it's true intellectually. For Life is too big a concept. I'm just going with this week at the moment. And sometimes it gets down to today, or the next meal.
