A little victory...

Hi all, I don't post here as often as I'd like as I'm always swamped bt I do read and respond to posts here and there as you're a lovely bunch!

Just thought I'd share a little victory I've had.

My jellybaby is 9 months tomorrow and smack bang on the dot I am back at my prebaby weight... Yay! 9 months to put on 22kgs and 9 months to lose it!

Very happy especially considering a complicated pregnancy and birth kept me from exercising as much as I would like (I used to be a runner...).

I was a little over what I'm comfortable with before baby, so I'm going to keep going for 5-6kgs more, but no pressure.

Just wanted to share my victory with all you beauties!

Still very poochy! I need to be more consistent with tummy exercises... 4.2kgs and 56cm she stretched me out terribly!

Oh I know the feeling lol, but still amazing to get to pre pregnancy weight! I might mention actually the 30 day Beginner shred - by Jillian Michaels. I have been doing level one and level two for about two months and after day 20 I noticed my tummy getting smaller. Maybe give that a go? It's only 20 mins a day - just a matter of actually getting up and doing it every day is the challenge for me.

Even better is the 30 day shred but I find that too challenging for me. Check out Amazon for reviews

Congrats on what sounds like quite a big victory - in only 9 months and with a tiny baby to look after and nurture and provide for. You've really done well, and I hope you really give yourself credit for it. Only a few kgs from a weight you're happy with, but I bet you look great right now - enjoy this time :)

Thanks Ruth!

I too am still "postnatal" - 20 years almost to the day! Therefore I am lost in admiration for your achievement. Very well done! xx

Congratulations! See, it isn't just the Hollywood slebs with expensive dieticians and personal trainers who can do it!!

Yep! Housework whilst babywearing is great cardio... Not so glam but it does the trick!
