Weigh in week 10

Hi everyone!

I have lost another 1.5lbs this week. Feeling really good and starting to notice a difference in my actual body! Having had a mastectomy without any reconstruction, I always noticed my buddha belly but even that's on it's way now. I've lost 3 stone 2lbs in total and really starting to feel like a different person!

Reflecting on coming to the end of the 12 week NHS plan, I can definitely recommend it to anyone. It's been awesome to be free of slimming clubs and realising that actually I can do this on my own and not have to pay someone to tell me what to do! I'm also just starting week 7 of couch to 5k and again, I would recommend this to anyone. I'm still over 16 stone and got a way to go but I'm succeeding, not something I can write that often!!!!

Keep going everyone, we can do this!

Love Elsie xxx

Hi Elsie,

Many Congratulations on achieving another 1.5 pound loss this week, and to achieving a total weight loss of 3 stone 2 pounds - you're coming to the end of week 12 of the NHS 12 week plan, and it's so good to hear that you enjoyed it, and found it helpful.

You're succeeding, and doing so well, and I can tell you're also enjoying the Couch to 5k. Brilliant!

Your post is really inspiring.

Wishing you another great week ahead.

Lowcal :-)

Well done Elsie you're doing great! I weigh 17 and a half stone and feel very depressed and like a failure for getting this big. I don't know where to start. I'm 54 and have a lot of health problems and I don't think I'll make it to 60 unless I make big changes.

Good luck for the future x

Hi Curlygirl,

I started out at over 19 stone and I felt really out of control and depressed. You have to start somewhere so my advice to you is look at what you have in your kitchen. Rearrange your cupboards and put all the rubbish food in one place if you're like me and have kids or other people in the house who like to eat rubbish. It's all about the small changes. Plan your meals and I would strongly recommend looking at the NHS choices 12 week plan.

You can do this and it's the small changes that make a start. If I can help or support you, please message me. Keep in touch, start today!
