Completed week 2 and cant stop grinning!

Not sure that it has made any difference on the scales but I have completed week 2 and feeling pleased as punch.

Is it true that initially when u start to exercise your body retains water so may impact on weight loss at first?

Hi Mummybrummy,

Congratulations on completing week 2. Great that you're feeling pleased as punch, that's a great feeling! :-)

Yes, your body can retain water when you start exercising, and this may impact on weight loss at first. I think that is correct. Probably someone who knows more about this can comment better - but I think you're right in that assumption.

Hope you have a lovely weekend, and really great to hear you're feeling good after completing week 2.

Lowcal :-)

Well done !!!

Sorry, I can't answer you question, but I know the sense of achievement you feel 😊

I am just starting week 7 - and it has taken me more than 7 weeks as repeated some runs a little more often - I never thought I get to running 25 minutes without stopping.

Keep going 🏃😊
